Hello
« on: June 17, 2011, 03:12:10 am »
Hi there!

Greetings from Malaysia. I have been a Thermomix owner since last year. Mainly use it to boil grains for breakfast.

Recently, encounter bottom leakage and I took it back to the HQ. They said is due to the grease trapped at the sealing rings and that is does not function well. But after cleaning it and removing the grease, the leakage still happens. The technician told me that this is not common problem for them. Has anyone encounter the same problem? Please help. My thermie is only 1 years old.....

Thanks!
Jackie

Hi Jackie, welcome to the forum.  Not good that your first posting is with a problem though.  Your warranty is for 2 years so just keep at them until it is fixed.  Hope you get some satisfaction so that you machine works properly and you can cook some of the lovely recipes we have here on the forum.  It is a shame to only use it for breakfast when it is capable of doing so many things.

Hi Jackie and welcome to the forum. Definitely take your machine back and insist that they fix it. Try it before you accept it back. Good luck.

I'm not too sure what the 'grease trap' is?? Is it leaking from the lid or out the blades? How is your TMX going now?? Have you got any satisfaction from head office?? It is still under warranty so yes insist it be fixed. you can vote for your country here.  ;)

Hi all,

The grease leaked out from the blade. There is suppose to be some lubricant under the blade. They changed the whole blade for me and am still testing it out these few days. So far so good.  :)

Thanks!
