Hi from Adelaide!
« on: March 11, 2012, 10:26:45 pm »
Hi everyone,

I have been using this forum as a new Thermomix user and thought I'd better register so I can start posting on some of the fabulous recipes that people post and comment on.

Look forward to being part of such a great TMX community.
Ainslie

So glad you could join us and introduce yourself. Where are you from? How long have you had your TM for?
The forum is the best place to get hundreds and hundreds of recipes from, and they keep coming everyday.

The forum is such a great place to share our love with out TM, especially because there is no one on the forum who will tell us it's a waste of money, or why would you want to have one of those etc.
I cringe anytime someone asks me how much I paid for my TM as I know what the reaction will be before I even answer.
At least we on the forum all know it's worth every cent :)

I don't cringe Dede, I love seeing the look on their face when I tell them the cost of the TMX - shock value is priceless  ;D  You can just about read their minds ' she must have more money than I thought' LOL

I love it JD. One of DH's friends rang me the other day. He had heard that I had a wonderful 'mixer' and wanted to buy his wife one for her birthday. I proceeded to tell him how wonderful it was and what it could do, when he interrupted me and asked how much it cost? When I told him he nearly dropped the phone and replied she wouldn't be getting one of those then. I tried to convince him to come round and see the TMX but he wouldn't. He is still working and I know his wife would have loved one.

DH has told me a couple of the wives from car club have TMXes now and I have given him the address of the forum to pass on. Hopefully someone has joined.
