I find it hard to add quantities of biscuits etc cos it really depends on the size of the roll in this instance, or the cookie cutter or whatever, but I have been reprimanded Judy, and I will try harder in 2013…promise.

How long do you think this dressing will last in the fridge?   I have some that has been there over a week - still smells fine - and was wondering if it would be OK to use tomorrow?

Personally I think the dressing goes a little bitter after a day…so like to use it all up first go…but it should keep well. It wont go off. But just the flavour of the mint becomes a little acidic and bitter…(a lot like me with age!)

Yumm Julie…going to have to make this one again after your impressive pic…its been a while!!

Its probably about the size of the tin you used more than the flour. I used a small loaf tin with high sides, so I think that is why it looks  high in the pic.  ;D ;D

Thats a great idea Kimmy, just making a different kind of graneusli now for all my house guests…using orange juice and zest, choc chips, spelt and quinoa…awesome. Going to leave it in the oven to dry out like you suggest.

Hi Asha,

Yes use the grill mode so that you get crispy crackling…good luck.

Just wondering about traditional Christmas lunch menu plans - what are you doing in your Thermomix?

I always make the white sauce and custard for pudding, but that's it. Thinking this year I should try gravy? Maybe steaming veggies and I need a nice simple breakfast / brunch pastry too.

Any tips?

Hoping hopefulcook, that you have downloaded my Christmix ebook?? Lots of menu ideas in there.

Looks fantastic Julie. I really think Tnina should contract you to test and photograph for her next book, you really bring her recipes to life.

:D :D

They are all out of the smaller packets of the Crio Bru, so looks like I'll have to wait a little longer to try these.

Back in stock, but going fast! YIKES, we cannot keep up!

Your cookies look amazing Jo, tho much paler than mine?? Perhaps the darkness of the sugar you used. I love the stamps and thanks thanks thanks for posting the catalogue link…a whole new way to get a tax deduction for me!!

Merry Christmas to me! :D

I have feedback about this one needing some sugar. I left it out after two trials (one with and one without) as the white chocolate is practically all sugar anyhoo…but a little sugar may just bring the flavour of the raspberries out a little more, as does the lime juice….

As for gelatine sheets, I prefer them as opposed to powder, but most ppl find them hard to source. You get a much nicer result with sheets texture wise.

I love pork belly when it's cooked right, so I look forward to making this one.  :)

We all look forward to you making this one as well, so we can drool over your pic, tho Susies was pretty drool worthy! I had to trial this a few times to get it right…gotta say, just LOVE it…but staying away for a while, as I can eat the entire thing all on my own. THE best.

Wow, your story had me worried for a sec Mrs KK, I would never have thought to do all that. I make it well in advance or not at all, as it really does take so long to set…

Glad there was a happy ending!
