Just watch your balance when you swing that foot Chookie!
So true. The salesman warned me of this.

Marina, what a lot of interesting meals. Should last the week.
Yesterday cooked 23 SD crumpets and 3 jars of Orange and Whiskey Marmalade.
I also made the Chicken and Peanut Curry from my new book. A friend called in so I asked her to try it. She loved it. The recipe was for the slow cooker but I cooked it in the Varoma. So easy. Just put everything in a covered dish in the Varoma and steam for 1 hour. 1/2 recipe made 3 meals with rice. The serve that was left over I’ve added carrot and zucchini to.
If I can find time, I’ll put the recipe on the Forum.

Correct Judy. I noticed a lady at the Supermarket with her hands full, kick under the boot of her Merc and the boot opened. I asked how this was done. Very handy.
Washing and cooking today. May take car for a short run to Creswick.

Sounds lovely Mab.
Made the Banana and oat muffins from Cookidoo. Good, made with wholemeal flour.
Made 4 jars of Tangelo marmalade and 4 jars of Blood Orange and Brandy marmalade. On the way home from trip down the coast we stopped at a shop called Peaches at Torquay. They had 5 different types of oranges. I bought 4 different ones to try as marmalade.
I also bought a cook book!  ‘ Bored of Lunch, the healthy slow cooker book’. By Nathan Anthony. These are simple calorie counted recipes. He also has one for AF.

Judy, can’t keep a good woman down. Go for it. DD partner says hello to you. He has just got his 7. Is replacing his 31 and is excited about Cookidoo.
No cooking today.

The risotto patties reheated beautifully in the AF. More for Dinner. I was reading an Adam Liew recipe for the best ever pumpkin soup. It’s pretty much the way I make it in the TMX so don’t know what all the fuss is about.

Morning all. Lovely dinner last night at French restaurant. Going back for breakfast ! We are staying in a 3 bed cabin at a holiday park. Basic but has everything we need. The car was amazing. Everything is voice controlled  and linked to my phone so can use Apple information also. Bit complicated for this old chook but I will do my best.
There is a big foot race on down the coast this week end and several members of my family are competing. They will be staying in the cabin.

Mab, I still have flops with the bread machine. I’ve forgotten to add the yeast and some recipes don’t have enough water or too much. While it’s doing its first kneed I now look and remedy the mix that doesn’t seem right.
Judy, what a great cook up. One of the best things about eating out is trying new things.
I turned the leftover risotto into patties.

Mab, how are you going with the bread machine?
Yesterday I played with the Varoma on the 7. I used the steaming function. I placed some  cooked Beef in stout in a small glass dish and covered it. I surround it with carrot, Cauli, zucchini and a small potato, cut in half. Steamed for 20 minutes. A very convenient meal.

Mab, that is sad but life changes and we have to adapt. You have lovely memories and that is good. I have lived in 5 homes during my life time and good memories are attached to each. I’m sure your DS will build more good memories. Sounds like DS is making sensible decisions following his accident.
I’m consulting with solar company about attaching a battery to my solar panels.
Monthly general Probus meeting yesterday. I’m gradually feeling more comfortable at the club. This club is 24 year old , so friendships have been well established.
