So inspired by Katiej's recent Curry Night Menu! I did a bit of googling to find a suggested recipe for the Beef Vindaloo and found this. . . http://edibletcetera.com/2012/12/15/from-js-kitchen-authentic-indian-beef-vindaloo/Excellent suggestions there re preparing ahead, slow cooker or oven, freezing, etc. There was a reference to Bangalore Phall - something I'd never even heard of . . . more googling came up with http://rubymurray.com/curry/displayrecipe.php?Name=Beef+Bangalore+Phall+Recipe - subheaded with "Death by Curry" . . . and with that number of habaneros or scotch bonnets I'd imagine you'd be lucky to make it to the door of the ER!!!! I love chillies, but the very thought of that kind of heat makes me twitch and my eyes swizzle and swirl!!! Thanks Katie!!

Poured here early this morning and looks as though it has set in for the day! Loving the cool change!! Really glad I took the opportunity of the sunny (if somewhat hot) day on Sunday to give the chooks' living quarters a bit of a spring clean.

Love it, CC!! I kind of did something similar over the last week and a bit . . . bread tins, some 3D cookie cutters (I'll post in the Shopping thread) and, dare I say it . . . an air fryer (after all these months of resistance. However!! Hope I've made up for it by a $0 grocery bill by cooking out of pantry, freezer and fridge!

I've been playing around with the naas recipes . . . with one I rolled the dough (that had been mixed with minced garlic) into 6 balls - cooked one and froze the others (without rolling them out) . . .jury is still out on the frozen ones - one I had I defrosted but he dough had become very sticky so had to roll it out with more flour.
Katie - what cheese did you use?
Chookie, do you think I could freeze this raw dough successfully?

. . . . and it's 20C and raining here on the northern beaches of Sydney. I hope everyone had their picnics and bbqs before the rain came. The cool change is a welcome relief though . . . bright sunny skies and 36C yesterday to cap off several 30+C beforehand.

Judy, a wonderful "unplanned" shop. Love it when things happen like that!! Cookie.. If you don't have "garden room" both the bay and lime are great in pots!
