Dede, great to see you here again.
One thing you could try would be 'aquafaba' which is the liquid drained off a tin of chickpeas. Look it up on google. Chookie has been experimenting with it a lot and it mimics egg white, so you can do meringues, mayonnaise, etc.
That does sound interesting. I will have to do some research. My partners son is only 5 so hopefully he will grow out of it eventually, but for the time it would be nice to try a few egg free options. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Well it sounds like you have some changes in your life.
Over the last 2 years I have seperated, Divorced and unexpectedly meet a lovely guy who has been in my life for 8 months now. My oldest son has moved out but I still have 4 kids at home (DS 19, DD 16, DD 13 and DS 10) I'm still working as a disability /aged care support worker and am working 2 jobs.

Hi mcmich, The caravan is still not finished but it does look pretty good. I'm working full time and don't have a lot of time to work on the caravan these days. One day it will be completed . I actually come on the forum looking for some egg free recipes as my new partners son is anaphylactic to egg. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

What a lovely way to spend Christmas, does that mean the caravan is functional now?
Ha ha ha Bedlam I wish . We in tents this year lol. Fingers crossed next year for the caravan. It's a massive job and I haven't been near it for the last 3 or 4 months. There is many hours left yet to finish it. But I will I promise.

Opened my present, thank you so much to my SS. I received a shopping list pad for the fridge (very handy) a menu planner book and a beautiful Christmas theme table runner which funny enough I helped a client on Friday set up her table with a Christmas theme table runner and told her I must get myself one of those Very smart SS.

Hi all, I have been flat out the last few days getting prepared for camping with the family. With 5 kids and having to take 7 birds with me I have had my work cut out for me. But I'm really looking forward to getting away to the privacy of my parents farm, camped beside a beautiful big dam where the kids can fish and kayak and the adults can sit back and relax. Off to the doctor shortly because I have a stitch in my head still that was missed and it's stuck. I have tried to pull it out myself but with no luck and lots of ouchies. Hopefully the doctor can remove it easy. Hope everyone is having a wonderful day.

Stitches removed today and results received with the all clear. 😃. So happy. Now to get a fringe cut and a nice wide brim hat for summer.

After DS 8 hurt his ankle 2 weeks ago which stopped me going to meet everyone in Hobart at the forum fest we finally had a second x Ray which found a fractured ankle. Now in a full plaster for another 4 weeks. He was so worried about the doctor hurting him today that he almost refused to go. DS hates doctors and dentists and any form of medication at all that he would rather suffer than get help. But we got there in the end and all is good. He's now looking forward to people signing his cast.
