Marina, I admire your casual attitude to weighing, but I canít do it. Especially with bread.
K Atie, wonderful to have some me time.
Another round of trying to get someone o fix our A/C. Still not working.
Yesterday bought 3 sets of shelves for the garage. Ral insists he can assemble them. But of course he canít. GS can.

Cookie, I find the teaspoon of honey takes the edge off the sour taste and not too bad for the diabetes. I also am finding that I can delay breakfast for an hour after the warm lemon drink.

Hold off Marina. Look at Facebook section for AF. There are dozens available. Yes, you do need an AF but choose carefully. I like other have a Philips XXL. This is my 3 rd. , of this brand.  Iíve given previous  ones to DD. One has gone to GS , ď man CaveĒ I have bought several as gifts. One from Big W for a friend who wanted a small one. She loves it. A Philips for my SIL who loves it so much, he bought his mother one. I love how I can put the baskets in the DW. Most of the Philips appear on Special frequently. I have had AF for more than 40 years. The first was a German one which we used mainly in the caravan. Then one of those round convection things with the heater in the top. Hated it as it was difficult to clean. The new models of these are now better designed and easier to clean. Also very cheap. I use mine mostly for reheating. They recommend that you donít use oil in spray cans as this ruins the non stick coating. Donít buy a small one.

KAtie , these things seem to happen when we are already busy. Good that no one was injured.
More unpacking. We collected more boxes from storage. Have to go to Motor Reg office to do change of address. Couldnít do it on line.

Cookie, the lemon drink is thought to clean out the kidneys. I added a teaspoon of honey and it was very nice. I thought it would do no harm as while living with DD I noticed she did this every morning. She is the fittest 50 year old that I know.
Making Sausage rolls for GS.
I can now bake as we had a second visit to check on the A/C. They have determined that it was leaking gas.

After seeing the heart specialist yesterday, when he said we must also look after our kidneys and liver. Iíve decided to have a warm drink of the juice of 1/2 a fresh lemon in a cup of filtered water before breakfast.

KAtie, you are managing well for such a busy time.
I got a good report from the heart specialist and he reduced the cholesterol drug by half. Donít have to see him again for 12 months.
Having windows measured for motorised  blinds that you can see through. Should cut the sun exposure on the windows.
Also a Ď privacyí blind on bedroom window.
Investigation into tradies to work during Xmas hols going ahead. Private companies, no go. Has to be a Gov contractor as they have to be available during holidays. In this particular case of A/C  refrigeration electricians.
Best advice is to have any essential items serviced well before needed.
Marinaís suggestion was close to what is needed but they done have the skills or qualifications. But a Hospis group do. Not sure how to tap into this service. Will find out.

Today is our 59 th Wedding Anniversary. Like Cookie, as teachers, we were married during the Xmas holidays.
A friend made my Wedding dress while a painted a Disney mural on the bedroom wall for her soon to arrive baby.

Marina, no excuses. All the tradies are on holiday. This is fair enough, everyone needs a holiday. There are a few working , cash in hand , as the firms they work for are officially closed. So you need to know someone who knows someone who is working, and this someone must have a certificate that allows them to work on your particular system.

Holidays are over so no more cooking on a daily basis - it is back to my usual bulk weekend cooking routine.
Marina, Iíll bet you have enjoyed your daily cooking. Bulk cooking, we what we need to do to survive while working.
