I’ve been looking through Helen Goh’s book. It’s amazing. I’ve marked a few recipes to try for special occasions.
I’ve got an itch to cook bread. Something to use up yogurt. Don’t like the recipes I’ve looked at so might make up my own.

Same as last night.  Barramundi and veggies.
I baked the B and B puddings in the AF. Squashed some fresh raspberries on top.

Cold and wet.
Tempting fate. I changed wardrobe from winter to summer.
Garden growing like mad. I’m eating, lettuce, onion tops, radish, snow peas and silver beet. Lots of herbs.
My 7 has arrived back at consultants PO.

Grilled Barramundi with steamed veggies and a dob of cheese sauce. I also have made 2 mini Band B puddings. I used leftover panettone.

It sure has turned cold.
I’ve been thinking of adding olives to Brazilian puffs. Had a look at Helen Gohs book and she does more than that.
I also love the look of her Passionfruit, white chocolate and macadamia nut cheesecakes. Anything in individual serves is the go for me at the moment.
I’m also enjoying the beautiful photos of villages and mountains that my GD is sending me from Nepal. She and her boyfriend are walking with a local guide through the Himalayan mountains.

It’s funny how some people’s recipe don’t gel with us. I’m like that with Skinnymixer’s.
Same here. Thought it was just me not liking her push push approach.

Well done Marina.
Mab, l love having family around. GC came for dinner last night. They are such good company. We shared photos of what we have been doing lately. They are always interested in what I’ve been doing and I love hearing what they  get up to.
I sampled the Xmas Puds. ( necessary as I’m giving most away). OMG they are delicious. I added an extra 1 teaspoon of Apple Brandy to each small pud. Served with TMX custard.

Cookie, with your skill and expertise with SD you probably don’t need the Baker Bleu book.  I used the recipe for the Rye and Caraway loaf but varied the method. I found the amount of Caraway perfect.
Made 2 bread sticks for Garlic bread. Used the other third to wrap around olives, into small balls. Remember ISI’s recipe?

Made a Rye and Caraway loaf from Baker Bleu book. Very nice. Gardener came so gave him some Pumpkin soup for lunch. He loved the bread. Used it to wipe out his bowl.
Made a Jamie Oliver veggie dish. Roast assorted veggies with curry and oil, then mix, tin of tomatoes, tin of coconut milk and a tin of chickpea. Tip over roasted veggies an and bake for 15 Minutes.

Pork fried rice. Taste tested a small Xmas Pudding and Brandy custard.
Made a Jamie Oliver veggie recipe. Quite nice. Don’t really like his recipes much.

Lake’s Entrance is as lovely as I remember. We were given the best rooms at the Hotel. The breakfast and dinner at the hotel are a 2 course buffet. Food is plentiful and good. We travel in a Bus with seats for 50, but there are only 16 of us Probians..
Dinner each nights food is appropriate for our age group. Last night we were offered Italian style chicken, mixes veggies, fish and chips followed by Trifle and fruit salad.
Both the Guide and bus driver are excellent.

Latest info on my TMX 7.
Today I was sent a message from service department, actually 3 messages. Saying in this order and all relating to today. Received machine, working on machine and posting it back.
I immediately rang service department and asked what they had found and what they had done about it.
They filled the bowl with water and switched it on. It worked. Of course it worked. The problem is intermittent.
I spoke at length with a service person. He was going to try and stop it being sent. We will see.
I spoke with my son and asked if an intermittent problem can be picked up through diagnostic testing. He said difficult. Said if they send it back and it continues to play up, to take a video.
If it continues to play up I’m contacting HO in Germany and threatening Consumer Affairs as the machine is not suitable for selling .
Very frustrated.
