Judy, they look delicious.
Made these today. Experimenting on the best biscuits to pack into gift boxes.  From the feedback from my test kitchen, ( the ladies at the local Pharmacy) these will certainly be included. I need to convert the cup measurements into grams.
Will post in Biscuits. Super easy, delicious and cheap.

Thanks Chookie, it was a nice find and the sort of thing that would go really well with DD & GD’s grazing platters. It’s great to have a ‘test kitchen’, I use one of my neighbours generally seeing as I can’t test baked items myself.

I find it very handy to have independent testing help. Our neighbours say everything is lovely. Not much help but nice.

I'm always on the lookout for new biscuit recipes, thanks Chookie.

I had put my Classic loaf into Cookidoo. I hadn't done it very well, so after making it from the thermomix this morning, I changed it. Its now user friendly if DD wants to make it.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Well done Cookie.
Made a loaf with added hemp. Added 1/2 cup. Wouldn’t want to add more. 3 bread sticks in the oven now.
Made custard for tarts.
First go at Ginger Fluff sponge. Took KAties advice and did a vinegar wash.  However after the wash I forgot to switch off the Varoma temp.  So cooked the eggs for 10 minutes. I looked up sponge on Cookidoo. Beat eggs a 100. Will give this a go.
Ral said he will ea the first flat effort.

Judy, thanks for the vote of confidence.  :-[
I used the Sponge recipe from Cookidoo.  For those who don’t have a 6, it is basically, 4 Jumbo eggs beat for 12 minutes with 4 1/2 once’s of sugar, speed 4 @ 100 degrees. I subbed some of the flour for the spices n Mabs recipe. Baked in 1 tin and split . Result, a very acceptable ginger sponge. I’ll post a photo when I fill and decorate tomorrow.

That’s interesting Chookie, heating the egg/sugar mixture before adding flour etc and baking it. I’ve not seen that method before.

I think it helps with the aerating or something Judy. I know Tenina always uses a little heat when making meringue. I haven't tried a sponge in the thermomix yet. Maybe one day.

Well done Chookie , amazing that we are still able to do something different in our TMXs after all these years . A true testament of the TMX always something new to try . Even changing things around ,like spaghetti Bolognese now I use the TM31 to cook the pasta using boiling pasta method then TM5 for chunky bolognese , life changing the pasta is perfect as long as you use the pasta to water ratio that Cookidoo does it works a treat .

Good tip K atie . I’m spoilt for choice now with the new ovens and the 6. I have started to cook rice in the oven instead of the TMX. Tried another crispy biscuit recipe yesterday. Good  for batch cooking. Crisp Choc Chip,. Also made some Hedgehog. Used Lindt, vey decadent. Stopped Ral from eating  too much.

Hedgehog with lint chocolate oh my . How much lint chocolate did you use , I’m obsessed always buy it on special and use it for any baking . But the gremlins have devoured it I think . It was a Covid indulgence that I had so many blocks hidden away.

K Atie, I also buy Lindt when on special, but also buy 3 k bags from Essential Ingredient. I buy Dark and Milk. ( this is about 1/2 the price when on special) I refuse to buy White as I don’t regard this as Chocolate.  I have to hide it as Ral LOVES chocolate. I’ll check the recipe for you. It was from a butter company. I used dark in the mixture and topping. This really stopped Ral . He could only eat one small piece.
The Ginger Sponge was a great success. Certainly not the same as the Ginger Fluff which is more delicate.  I will post the recipe as the one on Cookidoo was not popular. This is really a Sponge with ginger flavourings.
I’ve decided that the gift boxes need a bit more variety so making some Apricot slice and coconut meringues.
