Iv'e been away for a couple of days,  down to Apollo Bay,  on the South coast of Vic.   Home now and feel exhausted after reading all the wonderful things that members have been cooking.  What I did notice was how awful, and expensive, the  food  was that was available.   The TMX certainly is a wonderful machine.

Being still TMX green.....I'm making recipes form the book that it came with. Today I made the basic bead dough and baked some rolls to go with a minestroni soup. All delicious.....hubby thought the bread was the best bread he'd ever had......he says that often about my cooking, I'm sure I can improve.  ;)

That parmesan bread looks divine Maddy - I think I will be making that very soon  :D

Today I made a Dorset Apple Cake to use up some of the apples a friend gave me and to christen my heart shaped cake tin. Then tonight to go with a traditional beef stew I steamed potatoes (to make mash) and vegetables.

CC,  it really is lovey,  we were up high on Beacon Point with a room looking through the gum trees.  I took a photo as I thought someone might be interested.  It is attached to a Greek Restaurant,  where they have beautiful food.  The service is outstanding.

Its an easy day here.  I've whizzed up a fresh batch of mayo and made the girls some orange and poppy seed muffins.  The cake recipe from the EDC made up 48 mini muffins so I've got a few in my freezer to stop me eatting them.

I forgot I've also been having Cyndi's Protein Shake for breakfast too.

The Great Ocean Road  and the towns along there are so beautiful.

Cookie,   there are some beautiful places over in the West. We look forward to you coming over here,  you would be most welcome.  It is about time we took a trip West as it is a while since we were there. Last time we went on the Indian Pacific Train.  Been cooking like made today,  so I can get out into the garden.   Made Mayo,  Malt biscuits,  Macadamia Anzacs to use as a base for an icecream slice. Will post if it turns out OK.  Cream of celery soup and 1st. stage of Agrarian Bread.  Butter to freeze.

Today I made Date, Walnut & Banana Bread from form the EDC book. I am following recipes to the letter, but it seemed a little tough, like it was overmixed?   :-\ Tasted very yummy tho.

Haven't done that one foxycoxy but this one is really nice - read the whole thread though before you make it. http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=3779.0
