Thermomixer is probably doing a cooking course in some remote place. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Maddy, the bread demo came about because I attended a couple of "Back to Basics" classes , mostly just to support my consultant. I noticed that a lot of woman at the meeting were not using their TMX very well and felt that they had paid a lot of money for a useless bit if machinery . They particularly were having trouble with the bread recipe in the EDC book. I have taught several groups of people to make bread over the years, so why not with TMX. My consultant said she had several clients who would be interested. And it grew from there. As they were leaving they asked if I would do more. So there is obviously a need. I am not sure that HO would be impressed as they like to keep a firm hold of what is going on. There are about a dozen members on this Forum, whom I could name, who would have the knowledge and skills to do what I did. I would be prepared to share planning details with any one who is interested.

Judy, tell Geoff that these are just beautiful. You can see just how much effort goes into them. How does he decide what he will make? I agree with Maddy, they are too nice to smash up. Make sure you take pictures of all of them.

Lovemythermo, I love my 2nd. bowl, because I'm a lazy cook. You can leave bread to rise while you make soup in the other. But as Judy says, you can manage quite well without it.

Cookie, you would be most welcome. Plenty of room and the DH's could talk cars. I'm not joking.

Chit Chat / Re: How many doz eggs do you use in a week?« on: November 18, 2010, 05:45:54 am »
Andi, these are just beautiful. My chooks are ISA Browns, little egg laying machines. Very ordinary looking eggs. They lay 1 a day for a year, and then mostly stop laying or lay an egg every couple of days.

Interesting discussion, let us know. Could use thinned yogurt to replace the buttermilk if you wish.
