Try contacting Vorwerk at http://www.vorwerk.com/thermomix/html/contact.html  They would be the best source,

I tried to get hold of a manual for the 3300 recently and was sent a photocopy which cost 5.00 plus £2.95 postage (actual cost 67p!) from TM UK.  To be honest manual did not tell me much I could not have worked out (and I had never used TM before) there were no recipes just how to assemble and clean, plus a few tips of what not to do.... disappointing really considering the cost. :'(

SInce Thermomix in Australia is rather new, should we contact Thermomix UK to get hold a copy of the TM21's manual?

jacanne, perhaps direct your questions to UK Thermomix here http://www.ukthermomix.com/recindex.php
regarding the manual and they also have a recipe book available for the TM21.  When that website comes up, if you scroll right down to the bottom you will find a list of books available.  There is a 'contact us' section at the top of the page where you could ask about the manual.

Try emailing TMX in Australia. They should have something.
Alternatively email Vorwerk in Germany directly.

I know I'm late, but here's a link to the user's manual for TM 21: http://www.mondial-shop.com/jec/images/stories/manuel/mode_demploi_tm21__uk_optimis.pdf  No recipes though, looks like someone scanned her own manual as it contains handwritten notes.

Better late than never.
