Yes Judy it’s finally salad weather. I baked a piece of Salmon in my Ninja BBQ/ Airfryer. When cold mixed it with lettuce, cucumber, radish and tomato. Mango fluff today. 1/2 mixture. Lamb and veggie soup. Using bone from roast leg.

Mab, WOW. That is magnificent. Cooked marinated chicken wings from Aldi, in my Ninja oven. Ate 1/2 for lunch and 1/2 for dinner. Taste tested the Orange, Cranberry and Whiskey Marmalade. Very nice.

That spice shop is also in Lygon St. in fact it was the first . I also love it. Bought the Australian spices there that I used in the scones I made. They had a recipe card with the spice.
The Essential Ingredient always carried ingredients that were difficult to buy anywhere else. You could also buy 3 kilo bags of Lindt chocolate. I would buy 2 bags. Milk for RAL and Dark for me. They also had a special section for Spanish stuff. But best of all were the Stainless steel baking dishes. Last time there I bought some for family and several for my self.

Waiting for heavy rain to come through. My veggies grew wild while I was away for just two days. Needed to tie up the sugar snap peas. Still picking Snow Peas.

K Atie, lovely outside meal. Going out for Xmas lunch with my cleaner to Itinerant Spirits wine bar. She loves wine bars!!! This one has decent food and mock tails. So probably just a salad for dinner.

Made a large pot of Spag Bol, also Lemon, carrot and Whiskey Marmalade. I think thinned down, would make a nice sauce for roast lamb. Pancakes?

Marina, I understand about the crowds at Daylesford. We deliberately went mid week. It was pretty quiet which suited us. Katie, don’t like the thought of DH jumping before it rolled. And snakes definitely a no no.

Tonight we enjoyed a shared meal at the Hotel. Grilled scallops, fried calamari and grilled asparagus. We shared a small Passionfruit sponge.
