not good reading this and eating the rest of the pkt of Maltesers  :-))

CP, from memory, 10 maltesers have 168 calories. How many are in a whole packet? :-)) ;D

oops! oh well at least it wasn't the big supersize packet that I looked longingly at

Amy you must be so disappointed, is it an injury that should clear up quickly with a little rest?

I'm devastated Wonder :'( My PT has said no running or cycling for at least one week, but probably two. We think its possibly a little tear in my hip flexor, which can be quite serious, particularly for cyclists. I have an appointment with the best physio in town, but of course the waiting list is quite long. I can't get in until September. I can't tell the extent of the injury myself, so I'll have to wait and see what the physio says :(

My workout today will probably consist of upper body weights, the grinder, and possibly some deep water running if I can do it. Pooey.

Hopefully you will be on the mend soon Amy, just listen to your body and do what ever it is that is comfortable without causing any pain. 2 weeks or so is not long if it means you will recover from the injury.

Amy that's so dissapointing for you. I've been at the physio this morning getting some work done on my hip flexor, not fun and it can take a long time to heal if not treated properly. There is still a lot of training you can do that won't agrivate it so maybe just a bit of internet researching on alternatives until you can get seen by the physio. Good luck with it.

Good news dash, after your weekend you probably thought you would gain weight.

I haven't been able to walk as much as I would like to as the weather has been pretty bad here. And having my nephew with me makes it even harder as he has a cold at the moment and I'm trying not to take him out in the cold too much. I usually walk to school with my kids before I go and pick him up if it's not raining.
Weigh day tomorrow for me. :)

Mandi I heard that a lot of Tassie got snow last week? Did you get any or are you too low?

The cold and miserable weather certainly makes it hard to get motivated to go out and exercise.

Dash there was a lot of snow on the mountains surrounding us but not down this low. But we certainly got the cold wind from the snow brrrr.

Well weigh in today and my weight is the same which is good considering I have not been eating the best lately. I have exercised every day so far this week. My body is aching and I feel totally unco doing the michelle bridges DVDs but I am doing them so that is the main thing. I am really tired and grumpy though. I am hoping the adrenaline kicks in soon  :-[ I know it will take some time. I am also struggling with feeling hungry and fighting the urge to snack!

Megan those first few days of a new workout the body aches from the delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS) can be tough but it is worth it in the end.

Meagan it won't take you long before you get the result you're after. Are you finding the Fitbit helps? I thought I would be back to square one after the weekend but I'm still the same. I've been tied to my computer so I'll have to break out and go for a walk

Forgot to post yesterday weighed in the same as last week, thought I would have gained after the weekend. Only exercised on day this week, this stupid cough has come back in full force. Just can't shift it, think its going then it comes back. Had it for about 4 weeks now.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!
