I am so loving this challenge and the little gems which are being found to make and review.  Gert, this recipe was the perfect one for you wasn't it?  Love your presentation too.

Perhaps we should let this particular subject choice run a little longer, what do you all think?

I made Megan Jane's Pasties today and they are delicious.  This is all that is left of the 16 I made. The GC came in after school and decided to have a couple and then took some home for their dinner. :D

CC I have a few wooden crapola boards  and a couple of wonderful chopping board made by DH's years ago one of Mahogany which I treasure.it is very heavy and very large.  I love it to bits a and fear one day I may not be able to lift it. Every once in a while he sand and oils it but alas he is almost getting beyond this.

The cheapos are just that but handy. If DH was up to making me some more I would want a couple of random shapes with handles. Maybe Mango wood.

When we had a boat I had solid Teak plates which I loved . I never had any plastic on my boat including glasses as at the time it was an old timber cruise built in 1945 And deserved the best. It is still going strong on the Gipsland Lakes. I miss it but not the maintenance.

I'd love too Judy as I have been busy this week. I will go with what others want though.

One Pot Meal with carrots & potatoes.

I had this on toast for lunch, it was really nice - a change from a bowl of soup.

Feeling frustrated, I have marked several recipes to make,  but will be away all weekend.  Made the Florentines as needed to take them with us.
