In a desperate last bid to clear all perishables I made a quick guacamole and mixed it into pasta - I don't know that I particularly like the taste of hot / cooked avocado but it was better than throwing it out!

Sweet Chilli sauce. I have 2 recipes. One tomato based and one with sultanas. I like the colour of the tomato based one the best, but the other has a good flavour.

I have an excess of pumpkin at the moment so I have made some into pumpkin soup. Not sure what I will do with the rest.

Made pumpkin soup. Organic pumpkin, baked in oven then removed seeds and skin. A different taste all together.
Made coconut biscuits.

Sort of raining today. I made some Butternut Snap biscuits, some yoghurt and a Spicy Fruit loaf from Cookidoo.

Bread looks lovely Cookie.
The Helen Goh potato , cheese and chive muffins were lovely. I find her recipes have lots of ingredients but are worthwhile as they are always good. These muffins would be very nice with soup. She has also posted a recipe for a bran muffin. Might try these today.
I’m having an afternoon tea for the Probus ladies group in a couple of weeks. Last time I made 3 different types of scones. This time I thought I might do muffins. Only problem is that I’m having the TMX demo the day before. I’ll have to test to see that the muffins reheat well. If not , I’ll do tarts and slices. Any thoughts?
