Yesterday I made  too much Mayo. Needed recipes to use it up. Judy sent me 2 recipes and Marina one.  Had run out of biscuits so made the biscuit one that Judy sent. A lovely short biscuit. Would be very easy to make in TMX.
Also the " bread" was also very nice with soup. Both recipes keepers.

Ha ha, I thought you'd do the biscuits Chookie.  It's a great idea looking for alternative recipes as how many of us can use all the home-made mayo quickly enough without worrying if it's safe or not?

Astarra, love all the baking you do.  Bet the girls and DH  love it also.
It is very comforting to know what is in their food.

I'm just starting to cook and freeze food for DS's first birthday party. We are having up to 80 people at a local park! I've already planned 3 slices, chocolate crackles, cupcakes, cake, jelly cups, popcorn, fruit cups and veggie sticks...what savoury food would you suggest to add to this mix?
And I'm hopeless with quantities (always over cater), I'm thinking 40 pieces of each, but any suggestions would be very welcome!

Amy's little quiches are nice at room temperature http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=10413.0

These little mice are cute but are probably too time consuming for such a large crowd https://www.facebook.com/partypinching/photos/a.198117923552713.47304.195474833817022/1094745087223321/?type=1&theater

Wonderful cooking Chookie and Astarra.

Jamberie the above suggestions sound wonderful also Judy's caramelised onion, fetta and mushroom tarts are easy and delicious. The recipe is here. I have made them at 30 times for different functions and they always get eaten.

Also TRTLMT has some great finger food ideas.

Yum Chookie. I would happily eat all the sesame seeds from them, then attack the rest.  ;D
