Finishing off Helene's bread and have some Dahl soup cooking for lunch. It is similar to DD's but I will post it if it is nice

Today I've made:
Raspberry jam
gingerbread biscuits
apple muffins
bread
pumpkin soup for lunch

All set for the next couple of days  :)

Suzanne, when is your DS' birthday? My eldest son's is tomorrow.

Made a New York chocolate cheesecake for him. Used the TM for cheesecake for the first time. Plus the butterfly got her maiden flight. Cake is chilling in the fridge. Fingers and toes are crossed that it turns out good.

I finished off Helene's loaf. As I only have a camp oven this time I used my Corningware casserole. I preheated it in the oven for 15 minutes. I put it in the oven when it was cold and then switched the oven on. I am really pleased with the result. I wanted a higher loaf so the casserole was a 20 cm one.
DD made some lime cupcakes. She said the recipe was very easy. The icing is tmx.

I'll post a photo of the Dahl soup at dinner time.

Bread looks great, and the raspberry ripple ice cream sounds good.
I made more Portuguese custard tarts yesterday, and have been busy again today. DS has to make a recipe and write about it for his homework, so he made a loaf of bread and formed some bread rolls that I mixed up. I also cleaned out the back fridge and found the last of the fruit mince from Christmas, so I made it into biscuits. Dinner was quirky Jo's creamy chicken and rice soup. Yum!

Thanks, Suzanne. I'm sure your DS is one happy bunny :)

We had early celebration for DS this evening. Japanese dinner at his favourite restaurant, followed by cake and pressies at home.

His favourite cheesecake....

Roast beef for lunch and a fatless sponge cake that DH is taking in to his new work colleagues tomorrow. We ran out of butter and when he went to buy horseradish sauce, he forgot the butter. It was to be a Victoria sandwich, but this is healthier.
Here is recipe
