Judy, enjoy your cruise

I did the grocery shopping this morning.

Judy sounds like a great cruise. Cookie , it’s meant to be relaxing going to the hairdresser, poor girl , life is mean sometimes. Moving DH around with tractors etc . Shopping for the crutches . I did a massive freezer clean out . Any old meat out . Amazing what you find at the back . It’s like the jars in the fridge you find are out of date . Don’t understand how it keeps happening.

Judy your cruise sounds like fun. Enjoy it. My brother and his partner return tonight after a month away. They went Perth to Hong Kong, then London and down to Southampton. Cruised on the Queen Anne for 2 weeks to Norway, Hamburg, Helsinki, Stockholm and other places. Then back to Southampton, to Paris for a while back to Hong Kong. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it through their photos.

Cookie that’s a huge cruise holiday how lucky are they . Washing looking for clothes that seem to be everywhere. Moving vehicles for DH . Cooking . There is not much meat in the freezer but I did find a butter chicken, cross fingers it’s a nice one . Bonus , found lots of individual pieces of meat so DH can have those all on one shelf , for when he is hungry at lunch . It was meant to be freezing today , but the sun has been out and so nice even warm .

I went out to visit my other brother today. His wife is just home from a 2 week stay in hospital. She doesn’t look the best, but Parkinson’s does that to you.

Hi ladies, just checking in to let you know we’re back home after a fault with one of our passports meant we were not allowed on the ship. Such a long process and there were 3 other ladies who were sent packing too. At least they had time to retrieve our cases, 1 poor lady only had the clothes she was standing in. We’re both in good spirits after our disappointment, sometimes things happen and you have to take it on the chin.

Oh Judy that is not good. I hope it can be fixed and you get your $$$ re paid. So incredibly disappointing for you both. Hopefully you can plan another cruise soon.

Judy that’s disappointing and the fact the others were unable to go too seems to make it less disappointing. You will have to have a pretend cruise night event at home . DD and I did a bit of makeup shopping and some nice clothes for DD . Caught up with DS and DD . Collected DS from the train station tonight , Then out to dinner . Nice to be together. DS doing uni assignment tonight . Dentist tomorrow.

We’ve got the Christmas/New Year one booked cookie and I’ve let our travel agent know the story. He wants to see me on Tuesday so I know he will do his best for us and that’s all he can do. I don’t dwell on it, we’ll just look forward to the next one and move on.

K Atie the ladies were also cool about it, no outbursts and we all still had our sense of humour intact.

What a disappointment, Judy - surely your travel agent checked that your passports were in order.  It sounded like such a lovely trip as well.
