We took the motorhome out for a run today. We went down to Harvey, about 1 1/2 hours away. Had lunch and visited the museum and drove home. It was a pleasant day out. We also called at the Harvey Cheese factory and left with our arms loaded up.

That’s nice Cookie , nothing like a drive to clear the head . Felt very tired this last week. Hopefully the sun comes out more today again so I get my mojo happening.

A visit to the doctor this morning for DH. He has a rash on most of his body and it]s quite itchy. He now has some cream for it. While we were there the doctor gave us both the RSV injection.
We did the supermarket shopping after lunch.

I hope your DH gets it sorted out quickly Mab.
We had our RSV a couple of weeks ago. We have to have a new pneumococcal one, but the GP has run out.

A quick trip to DS uni . Was great to go for a long drive . Cannot believe how green it is . A day at the uni footy . Was great to catch up with DS friends . We were privileged to join them at the pub for presentations and dinner . Such a great bunch of young . Lots of chats with them . So many were at DS 21st . Out for Breakfasts too . Long drive back ! Tad eventful , not only did DH nearly collide at a roundabout on one of the days . We were very lucky , but hit a kangaroo on the way home , it’s not too bad but it tail hit the rear passenger door ( tail vertebrae marks and cracked paint . Then two kangaroos decided to fly across the road we stopped in the middle ( car behind nearly hit them too) . We were pleased to be back . We drove to The Rock which has some pretty country around the area ( that’s were the football game was . ) cattle country green lush and beautiful gum trees . It was cold too , we had hoped it would have been warmer.

Sounds like an eventful trip, K Atie. You would be glad to be back home.
Visited my surgeon again, Arranged for a cortisone injection in my knee to see me through (hopefully relatively pain free) until my knee replacement in the summer.

It was great Marina , nothing like a change of pace . Wagga Wagga is a beautiful town . That’s a long time to wait for your knee replacement.

Marina, you poor thing.
Katie I had a silly woman switch lanes and almost hit me. Fortunately I managed to dodge her. It was very frightening. Kangaroos are often out and about and make nasty dents.

The reason I am deferring my knee operation to the end of the year is that I want to recuperate in the summer, not winter! I am petty good at handling pain so as long as I can last until then the wait should be (more or less) bearable - hence the cortisone injection to help to see me through until then.

Marina I know a 91 year old who needs a knee replacements but at her age they will not operate. She is going to have those cortisone injections so I hope it works for both of you.
KAtie you travel a lot back and forth, is this the first time you’ve hit a roo?
Our next cruise is coming up so I’ve been busy cleaning right through, making sure the garden is tidy and choosing clothes to pack. Yesterday I made soup with all the leftover veggies.

Judy my DH has . I was not driving luckily. Always late at night or early morning. I have friends who seem to always have a kangaroo dent in their cars . Really it’s surprising that it hasn’t happened more often. It is a pain with insurance too . Enjoy your cruise. Marina great decision to try the cortisone as it does work .

That’s good that things are ok Mab.
I had my hair cut this morning. I felt sorry for the lass as she caught her partner cheating in her home. I go to a lass about 2 blocks away who works from home.
I then did the grocery shopping.

Good news, Mab. Keep well and take care of yourself.
Your poor hairdresser, Cookie, she must have been devastated. You read about these things, but I never think it actually happens in your own home; I always thought it was just a story line!
Enjoy your cruise Judy - where are you off to this time?
