3 lots of visitors today. Lady who lends me the Agatha Christie books, TMX consultant returning 7, and Probus member helping me sort out photos that I have been trying to to send for the Probus newsletter. I’m making scones to feed them.

We went to Costco this morning and I visited a neighbour this afternoon.

We went to Costco this morning and I visited a neighbour this afternoon.
Judy, intermittent problem. They tested it once by putting water in it and turning it on. It worked so they sent it back. I will continue to use it until it plays up again and will take video of problem. I’ll be contacting Consumer Affairs if they continue to be dismissive.

Off to Noosa for a few days then another couple of days in Brisbane - I was looking forward to a lovely Queensland break away from our weather down here but, sadly, the weather looks pretty bleak up there just now.  Ah well, it will be good to catch up with my sister as well as a friend whom I used to babysit many, many years ago!

Chookie, be tenacious about your 7 problem, I have a funny feeling you may not be the only one suffering glitches with that model.

Had a phone call from TMX service department.  Patrick explained that they had done a diagnostic test on my machine, but wasn’t able to say exactly what they found. ( didn’t have the paperwork in front of him). I used the machine for several recipes yesterday with no problems. I said the issue for me wasn’t just the machine not working but the inconvenience of having to pack it up and sending it back.  It’s obvious they are worried about litigation as he mentioned several times that they have documented my case. Although not stated I feel that they found a problem and fixed it. If it plays up again, I’ll do as DS says and take a video.
