When I find time I’ll give them a go Chookie, I made several batches years ago but I’ve forgotten what they’re like.

Thanks KAtie. It would have been a Maui.  We are rather lucky as we know a few places to find the wreath flowers. We stopped at the big tractor again.. I love it. Drove past the house we used to live in too.
We are at a free camp near Three Springs, with about 30 others.

You can see someone’s legs near the front left tyre.  It gives the perspective well.
Here we are in New Norcia. It’s a monastery town, first settled by Bishop Salvado. There used to be boarding schools here too but they have closed down. You can see the girls boarding school. It was called St Gertrude’s.

Cookie, you could go away for a year and live in your Motor Home. Love the little car on the back. Do you drive it?
School hols here. I’m looking after next door boys today. We were going to the pictures but nothing suitable. We are making Pizzas for lunch and watching something suitable on u Tube.

That’s a great setup cookie, enjoy!
Today I had gym then called in to see my Melbourne kids who arrived last night, they were weeding their lawn so I joined them in that chore before going on to visit my df. Home for a quick lunch then got stuck into my spring cleaning again, only the lounge and kitchen left to do now after a few days break doing other things.

I got my TMX 6 back after a complete renovation. Like new.

Today we went out to Koolanooka hills in the Suzuki and then to Perenjori to see wreath flowers. It’s so easy in the little Suzuki, it pops along and is 4WD should we need it. We don’t want to take the motorhome on any rough roads. This way we can put the MH in a park and explore in the Suzuki.

Lovely photos Cookie.  They remind me of our trip to the west.

Our DD and GD came for a surprise visit yesterday.

Thanks everyone. Today we turned for home. I havea couple of appointments coming up. Tonight we are free camping in Moora. We took the back roads and found a fascinating sculpture.

My grandmother was the cook in this hotel about 70 years ago. I just remember visiting her when we came down from the farm. My Dad went to school here. (Moora)

Cookie, thanks again for the photos. We must have inherited our love of cooking from our grandmothers. Mine cooked for the Coles family in Melbourne. I later taught at Lowther Hall, the mansion where they lived. My GD has worked there as a gardener. 3 generations at the same place.
