Yesterday we went to the Sheep show . We haven’t been for awhile , it’s a lot bigger . Quite impressed with the sheep on display . Lots of wool in so many bright colours. We always struggle with the food there , my diet was totally bad , chips coffee hot chocolate and cheerios dipped in chocolate!! Oh dear ! But a great day . We saw a breed of sheep called Valias blacknose ! Black head with long white wool . Not for us but too cute funny to see . Back late and foot sore .

Last night we met Chookie for dinner at a seafood restaurant down at Glenelg whilst she was in town. She’s looking well (I forgot to take a photo), it was so lovely to see her again and introduce her to my man.

Oh Judy, how very lovely. I’m sure she approved of your man. 😀😀😀😀😀😀. He sounds lovely.
We had a car run today. It was forecast to be strong winds, hail, storms and of course rain included. We decided to take the Hilux as the Model A’s aren’t fun in the rain and they leak badly. Only 13 members turned up which was sad. It was a lovely run through the hills and the scenery was good, but could have been better if it wasn’t raining so hard.

Yes he got the tick of approval cookie😊
It looks like you might be sending that weather over here. Good to hear some of you braved the conditions and enjoyed the run today. People are easily turned off activities when stormy weather prevails. Our match in Tassie was terrible to watch, I really felt for the players and spectators out in that weather.

What a special and lovely get together you had with Chookie, Judy.

I managed to chop off a wee chunk of finger whilst I was prepping some food on Saturday so had a fairly laid back day on Sunday.  I am still raw and sore but it will be fine, not too much damage done

Yes it was special Marina. I’m pretty good at chopping bits of my fingers too, I won’t show gory photos.  I have a good neighbour who has so many different type of bandages etc so I head over to her to patch me up.

What fun Judy to see Chookie . Windy weather today but great for drying the washing. Cleaning out the fridge of food ! Oops no vegetables left , maybe a carrot parsnip peelings ( they could be chips tonight . Also a small piece of pumpkin. Not sure what invention I’ll make for dinner !

Marina, things aren’t going well for you. I hope your finger is ok.

I have a hole in my lower leg where the dermatologist took a biopsy. It’s about as big as a 10 cent piece. It’s surprisingly deep. He did say it would take 4 weeks to heal. Fortunately it’s not very sore now.
