Well done with the culling CC.  I really need to get into my wardrobe and have a good clean out.
We always enjoy a visit to Echuca too.  DH loves the old paddle steamers and anything to do with old steam engines.

We could put our DH's together Margaret and go off and have a coffee and chat.

Add Ral to that and I will join for coffee and chat. Might be a long session.

It sounds perfect, now all I need to do is get over there. We need to be near MIL at the moment. She will probably live to be 100. Life must be horrid for her though as she can't do anything at all for herself, doesn't read or anything. Poor old thing.

That's hard to see isn't it, Chookie.  Is she aware of your DH and yourself?

Yes Marina, especially DD. Although she sometimes introduces DD as DH's wife...... that gets some funny looks. She has frontal lobe dementia, but she is getting very forgetful etc. But I guess that is what happens to some people when they are 90.

Should be packing, but have spent a lot of time on the phone chatting.
We are making an effort to connect with the Invermay community. Going to a fund raising Choir concert in September. I have offered to take some cakes.
Also a lecture and BBQ on earth worms. Organized by the local land care group.

Sounds interesting, Chookie.  You will both enjoy meeting more of your local community.

It’s nice to be involved with your local community, this will be right up your alley Chookie.

Chookie, both those outings sound good.  We had some giant Gippsland earthworms on one of our previous properties.  You could often hear them under the ground.

I've heard about them Margaret. A bit too big for me.

They’re great aren’t they Chookie, a brilliant idea by someone to brighten them up and make them a tourist attraction.

I love them Chookie. We have one at Merredin-I don't like that one much and another at Ravensthorpe, which is very nice. I think there is at least another one or two, but I'm not sure where.
