I hate to admit it but we have eaten almost all the bagels. We have one sweet one Left ( blueberry) and 3 savoury to have for lunch.
Hally it is called The Holy Bagel Company and is in a little factory outlet in Bannister Road. The prices range from$1.50 for the plainer ones to $2.50 for double chocolate or blueberry. I thought it was extremely reasonable.
We had smoked salmon and cream cheese with salad on yesterday's. I will definitely be going back.

It is pouring here today. A perfect day for soup, reading and cooking.

we had planned for lunch up at Darlington Estate, but don't want to try around those roads in this weather.

Been meaning to post videos of my boys in action at the West Australian Pianists Competition recently. It was so hectic in the weeks leading up to the competition and even crazier during the competition. There were 10 pieces and 7 entries between the three of them 😯 Thank goodness they kept their cool...most of the time anyway. There were mistakes every now and then that cropped up on stage 😁

My littlest one played a Mozart sonata, and received a first prize in the Grade 6 section. His first time getting the top placing 😄

Middle child is getting ready for Grade 8 exam this Friday 😱😱 One of his pieces is an exquisite nocturne by Chopin. Second place in Age 12 and Under, as well as an AMEB Encouragement award.

My teenager played another beautiful Chopin's nocturne. He got Highly Commended in the Age 15 and Under.

It's become a horrible day here. Very windy and rainy. Everyone is out except for me. I am thinking seriously about breaking out the port, even if it is only 2.55pm. It's late in NZ.  :D :D

ROFL Judy. I ended up cooking and that kept my mind off it. It is supposed to be worse tonight. I hope not. My hip is still playing up so I will take some painkillers before I go to bed and they may knock me out.  ;D ;D
