Wow it's been six months since Geoff moved into Morpeth, doesn't seem that long. I'm sure he will appreciate having his own room. It's great that he is joining in activities.

You need to look after yourself too Judy and get better.

I'm doing my best Katie but it's hard when people rely on you. Your comment made me do a recount, make that 5 months in Morpeth. I was taking into account the 5 weeks in hospital prior to that.

The time has gone fast though.

I know what you mean, you do have responsibilities with Geoff and your Mum, and even if you're sick you still have those responsibilities. It's hard, but you have to rest too so you can get better.   Hoping you're feeling better soon xx

Yes, Judy, you do have to take care of yourself.  Hope you are feeling a little better today and glad that Geoff is settled in his new room.  Those five months have flown.

Hope you are feeling a bit perkier, Katie, take care.

Mab, did you know that you do not have to pay for electricity for any billing period over 9 months (so I discovered recently!).  Well, that's the case in Victoria, don't know about anywhere else.

Day off today, had to attend orientation at work for the last 2 days and seemed to spend most of the time eating! Morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea.... they certainly don't skimp on the catering at this company. Then I received an invitation (more like a request) to attend a 2 day seminar at the Windsor in November, starting with breakfast, dinner at Grossi Florentino, and so on. I could get used to this! Must remember that I'm here to work!

Deedub that sounds brilliant.

We're spending today packing the camper again as we are off to Busselton for a 4 day weekend with the car club. It should be fun, but then I will be happy to stay home for a long while.

Gert you are a wealth of knowledge. I will check them out. I'll also show all the Model A'ers mine.

Yes it is a bit soon but we had promised to go on this. We were supposed to go to Narrogin on another one in October but have chickened out. You need almost as much for four days as we needed for four weeks, except for food, water and emergency rations.

Like most of the country (or so it seems), I've been watching the America's Cup racing this morning.

Lost the first race today  :( , and the second got canned due to high winds.
C'mon Team NZ - one more win to bring the cup home!
