Happy weekend all. I hope the Jamboree goes ahead Marina. We look like having a nice day, rain tomorrow though. Just when we have a 7.15am start in Armadale for a car run. We are driving down to Waroona where our cars will be part of a display. I think next time we do a run we will have to make it 10am start and drive to a nearby coffee shop! Half the fun is all the women standing round complaining about the cold and early start.

Did the jamboree go ahead Marina? The site sounds like the same state Glastonbury gets each year here.
Have a lovely time at the car display Cookie.
A damp drizzly day here.Had to change our walking route this morning as the horses were blocking our path.Chance didn't mind LOL.

LOL cookie. I think I'd stay in bed and let DH go on his own, that's way too early for me.

The banjo jamboree is going ahead, but there are far fewer people than usual. It is raining again ... poor souls, some have tents up, but I suspect most people are 'day trippers' not here for the whole weekend's events.

Morning all.
Lovely day yesterday, sunny and warm. Rain returned last night.
Cookie, enjoy your drive and car show.
Marina, Banjos seem to be quite popular. I notice that the local U3A has several classes for different levels of expertise.
Making citrus Marmalade today.

I hope DH was ok on the ladder Denise.
The car run was fun, BUT SO VERY COLD. I had gloves, a scarf over my face, a coat over my jumper and t shirt, and the hat of the coat over my head. It was nt too bad there, but freezing driving there and back. But as usual fun there. I won the club raffle today. It was a box of fresh lettuce, red cabbage, 2 big bunches of chard, 2 pots of honey, 2 bottles of wine and a heap of rocket. A local club member donated it from his garden.
Does anyone know nice things to do with the chard please?

All you needed was a blanket over your head whilst driving cookie LOL. What a great raffe prize cookie, perfect for you who likes to cook. Sorry, no idea what to do with chard, have never eaten it, is it like spinach?
I think one or 2 of mine have also come loose Denise, my DD and SIL arrive tomorrow for a couple of days and she said she will look at it for me. I draw the line at climbing on roofs nowadays.

Cookie DH has built some staging so he can repair the tiles more easily.
Good to know your tiles will be fixed by someone who doesn't mind heights Judy

Morning all.
Cookie , very nice prize to win. We grow a lot of chard or silver beet. It cooks down to nothing. Either cut the white stalks very fine if cooking with the green part or cook them for a few minutes first. Nice with a knob of butter and nutmeg added at end. It is a bit like spinach .
Hoping for a fine day so we can get into garden.
Hope everyone is looking forward to their week.
CC, hope DH is careful when fixing roof.
