Cyclone season is scary, hope everyone is in a safe place.

Off out for the day, catch you all later.

I'm very pleased that none of our FNQ members are near cyclones. Stay safe folks. As you are all well aware I hate wind.
I see where they think the cricket may get washed out in Britain.  :'( :'( oops, I just heard that CC's and DJ's countrymen won the toss.  ;D ;D

I'm with you there Cookie, wind is very scary!
Fortunately  QLD cyclone has been downgraded somewhat, but still heaps of rain expected. Thinking of ppl in those areas, must be awful!

40C expected here too.  :-\

DH is working until 7pm tonight and his dinner is all sorted (chicken with the apricot/chilli glaze) and I'm having an easy mushroom omelette which will only take a couple of mins to do, Soooo, I've decided to have an indulgent day.   :P

After my morning shower I put on a clean nightie and have been sitting on my bed in airconditioned comfort with my laptop typing up some recipes from books/ebooks that I haven't gotten around to doing yet.  I haven't done this in ages and I'm enjoying it.  ;D

Hello all, on our way home after a nice week away, 40 deg's is too hot, it was going to be 37 in Echuca that's why we are heading home, Julie sounds like you have a good plan in place are you in SA?

Days like this are for us to do exactly what we want to do and nothing that we don't have to do Julie.  I've just made some salads to take around to Mum for this hot weekend.  I would have thought it might get hotter in regional SA but it looks as if you're sharing our temperature.  Enjoy your recipe typing.

I got the gernie out, and cleaned my mum & dads patio :)
then we mowed for a couple of hours :)

My daughter discovered instagram, and created a account with another friend just up the road.
I am sure the boys will do one 2morow. :)
groceries 2morow, then more mowing
