Morning all.
After 2 days in Melbourne it is nice to be home. It has been raining cats and dogs. All tanks are over flowing and the garden has had a good soaking.
The cocktail party was great. Most dressed for the occasion and nibbles with the drinks, thank heavens. The young ones sure know how to dress up. Out for breakfast in Lygon Street yesterday. Nice to be waited on. Then to Readings to look at the books. Bought a Elizabeth David book on Vegetables.

CC, glad to hear that the Squirrels are giving Chance a bit of fun. Dogs just love to have something to chase.
Have a good weekend everyone.

Good afternoon everyone :)

Good rain here and the garden is loving it.  Unfortunately my bl...y roof is leaking again and I now have a bucket catching the drips.  We thought we had it fixed so will have to call the repair man back again.  >:( >:( >:(
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

It was disappointing Denise, he'd had a late breakfast and even though I'd told staff I was bringing food in for his lunch today, with change of staff at weekends, he was halfway through his lunch.  He wasn't at all hungry but did try and eat a few mouthfuls for me.  Consequently it was all a waste of time so I bought it home and ate it for my tea LOL. I have spares in the freezer so I could try another time and Mum enjoyed her.

I think so Denise but he wasn't as bright today as he has been lately so he may have been unaware of the significance of the day.

I told him flowers are good any day, didn't change anything.  Guess that's what happens after 27 years.
