Isn't  cicerchie a broad bean?  If so I have saw some dried ones in Coles. Does she want to pickle or garlic them. If so you can buy them already done in Coles in a big jar with the pickles and olives. I think they are like a fava bean or Lima bean. Chick peas are similiar .

Good morning everyone.

Last night must have been a bad night for sleeping.  We were woken up at 4:00am by a very loud noise that we think came from the smoke alarm.  We couldn't find anything wrong around the house so it was back to bed with one eye open for the rest of the night.

Our last house had an alarm that did that. We had 1/2 acre and the light in the alarm attracted the little midge. I used to need to vaccumn it. Might be worth a try if you have changed the battery and it happens again. Horrible way to wake up.

We can buy these in Melb.  from our Lebanese grocer.  He talked to me about them some time ago.  He said that some people use them to make Falafel and Dips,  like Chick peas.  Sorry can't help with purchase in Sydney.
Morning all.  Yesterday was very cold.  Rain and hail most of the day.  Today ,  cold but no rain.  New Chookies are all now laying,  so 3 eggs a day now.  Things are looking up around here,  Ral slowly improving,  won Book in competition and  Insurance paid all I claimed for the Part of the trip we didn't have.
Hope everyone has a good day today.

Yes it is true.  Tried to snow here yesterday but only managed hail.  The mountains not far from here had snow.
