I've been up for hours, should have come on here before I started cooking to say good morning to you all.  Hot 37o expected here today but a cool change tomorrow thank goodness.

Don't you love it when you take your car in for a service only to be told they had no record of the booking!  Got out my iPad and showed the confirming email from them with all the details etc.  very red faced they were with a discount promised.

Would have been bad enough if we were local but we've travelled from out of town for it.  So glad I had the proof with me  ;D

Lucky indeed Julie, those little iPads are so very handy for so many things.  I hope you are not held up too long with their bungle.

I can hardly believe it myself Gert, woke at 5am and tried to get back to sleep but had no luck.

Oh that is good. I love it. I use my iPad for just about everything. I take photos of stuff so you can show the sales people just what you are looking for and it was on this shelf when I took the picture you see here so when you say you never sold it I can tell you exactly where it was and how much it cost.

Good for replacement stuff when you can show that pic of the filter for the vac, a screw, hook, brand, towel, pattern or colour. I never leave home without it.

Good when you are Shopping for big ticket items. My DH's save $60 on a cheap small Tv yesterday when he showed the guy in JB  Hi Fi the price for the same at Good Guys. Saved getting back in the car an driving to the Good  Guys. Now he never leaves home without his iPad.

I was looking for a new outside blind and the gal at Bunnings insisted they had never sold it and proceeded to tell me how wrong I has and it must have been somewhere else. I whipped out my iPad and showed her the blind siting on the shelf right where she was standing . Then she told me she had been there only a year and I pointed out the date I had bought it which was six months before. Then she walked away when I asked her why she didn't just say she did not know or wasn't sure and she would check. Unbelievable! Where is the training?

 Can't wait.

Not too much longer than normal Judy, thank goodness.  Such a hot day today so we sat in an organic cafe sipping a green juice (then a latte) waiting for it to be ready before heading home. Bring on the cool change I say.  :)

Great ideas there Gert, you really make the most of your iPads.  Can I ask if you know how to delete a bookmark in the bookmark bar of an iPad 2 now there's been a software update?  Can't seem to work it out and Mr Goodle has been no help.  :-[

Tap on the open book at the top. When opens you will see edit down the right hand side . Tap,that and you will see the red dots to tap and delete.
