Just heard about this yesterday and was wondering if it is true.  Do they have classes now for grandparents  ???
I think they were serious about it and was wondering if Uni and CC had attended these classes, what did you learn ? :D ;D

MOrning everyone . .
Gert - what a fantastic experience for your DS and DIL(and what an amazing cultural background!!).  When I first went overseas umpteen decades ago it seems now - was only going for 2 years - and ended up living in NYC for 17.  Between you and me and the gatepost though I would find it really hard if one of my two offspring decided to live OS - but it is their life and you can't deny them that opportunity . . .

What's this about CC and Uni attending running GP classes . .?? ;D ;D ;D ;D

My son and family have spent a lot of time in India and both my son  and DIL have travelled extensively so they are comfortable Anywhere. The girls adapt to any situation easily which is what kids do  from my experience.  My DIL speaks several languages with French being her first lLanguage.  She is now brushing on and studying yet more Indian dialects. . My DS is pretty much a fail at languages but has no trouble getting on anyway. He is one of those quiet achievers and is quite shy.

Not to brag but my DIL is capable of most anything. Her father did an amazing job bringing her  and her sister up after their mother died. She surprises me every day and has the most common sense of any young woman I know. I got lucky and my son got super lucky.

It's nice for a change to hear someone who is happy with her DIL, quite rare from what I hear.

Judy, I used to have a friend who wished I was her DIL. And she kept hinting to her son as well :o :-[
