I intend too Uni, Hand raised birds make brilliant pets for all ages. I have had lots of them over the years. This is the first time I have had a sun conure, they are a very affectionate bird that loves cuddles and being silly. :)

He/she is only 4 weeks old, will need hand rearing for a few weeks. He's a bit ugly right now until he gets all his feathers :D

They are great birds with a huge personality, and they like to sleep upside down with their feet on the air lol :D

LOL dede...

Now I know how to rear most animals but not this one.

DH now gone for weeks work with family. Not sure if it is paid or not but he will be busy and farming!!!! I hopeto get some more tidying and sorting done but have to confess have suffered poor motivation in that area for last 2 weeks.

I have to be on call from 7 am tomorrow for emergency work. Just instructed DS how to cook chicken if I vanish!

Good morning everyone.
That's good that your DH has got work with family for a week DJ. Hopefully he will get paid but as you say he will be busy doing what he knows. Are you on call for nanny duties?
A cool windy morning here in Perth. Yesterday was stormy and wet  :(

That's no good about the phone reception DJ.  :(
Is DH still in England?
You won't be lonely with this forum on hand but you and DH must have so much on your minds at the moment and need each other to discuss and plan your options. I wish you some good luck and hopefully something good is coming your way  :)
