good morning everyone!  Uni - I was looking at sites for blinds, shutters, etc. a couple of days ago.  Am I paranoid?  The ads at the top of the forum screen are now showing for Kresta etc . . . .

Come to think of it, a few weeks ago I was looking at sites for raised garden beds . . and then everywhere I seemed to go on the net this one company was flashing and blinking . . . Coincidence??  Big Brother???

Morning everyone. My sour dough bread rose exactly I centimeter over night . What to do?

Gert
I  have had that happen but it has risen more when I cooked it not much though.  It was pretty heavy bread. Chookie may have more ideas.  If I lived closer I would send you some starter that I have.  I had to throw some out the other day as I had too much.  I wonder if it would survive the post if I posted some on a Monday.   I have two starters going at the moment, one a rye and one whole wheat.  The rye one came from W.A. and that survived  and the other from a bakery here in the State.  The bread I baked the other day was better using Chookies method of cooking, so will stick with that in the future.  Sorry I'm not much help.

Marie

I think my starter is fine and now what I think happened after reading cookies hints is that the starter hit the salt so I am going to pop it back into the THERMOTHINGY with more starter and see what happens.

Thanks for the offer though.  Someone locked the all about sour thread so can't post there.

Don't give up uni

Have noticed that too.  I said to my son that whatever I mention in emails, advertisements pop up about the item, I think he thought I was getting paranoid.  Glad it is not only me.

I'm just on a regular computer though, not ipad or laptop. Don't know if that makes a difference.

I have ads for blinds showing on mine now.
When I was in Phuket recently the ads were all about Phuket restaurants!!!
