Oh Goldfish, that is terrible.  Only read recently might have been Gerts Facebook page(could be wrong about that) about removing ticks with liquid handsoap.  Might pay to see a doctor, just in case. Take care

Yes.. Unfortunately.... Wasn't expecting them at this time of year! But will make sure tea tree oil accompanies all the BBQs and picnics from now on ... :(

Oh dear gf.. You should grt it checked out.. Is it normal that it has swolen up so much after removal?? Yes it was gerts fb page.. She shared it from mine who i got from someone elses.. Says put liquid soap on a cotton bud and hold. On tick for a few secs and they just come out.. Have fortunately never had a tick though so have never tried it..

That sounds nasty GF, hope things settle down soon and you won't have to go to the doctor.

Aerogard or Rid cream works too, to kill ticks.

My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.

Thanks Kimmy - still swollen but a little better than this morning. Hoping it'll be much better tomorrow . . . :)  Ticks are nasty little beasts.  Can't think of one earthly use they have!
