Morning/evening all.
Hope you're feeling better CC.
That article is so depressing DJ - at the moment I'm reasonably happy because we're getting a fair amount of sunshine even though it is bitterly cold. I'm not so happy with the thought of it being a bit warmer but rainy next week. I do feel so sorry for all the farmers as it is hard enough for them when the weather is ok.

Take care CC
DJ I'm fed up with the weather too. I am sick of every day being over 30 degrees. Yesterday was 27 or 28 and it was lovely. When we had the cool days I had great fun cooking. Some days now it is even a bother to cook dinner. If only we could mix your weather with our weather.

What a good idea cookie.
Yes Katya it is really grim for the farmers, and until now we have farmed always and will always be one at heart. The young are struggling through lambing up north, with DD due back in her job in the south on Monday. The consequences for consumers of food production and therefore prices are actually very serious, and farmers often get such a bad press.
Might try a spot of gardening today as the little patches of sun do warm it up. Been far too cold before.
Try a big dose of echinacea CC for a few days to boost the immune system.

It's a bit cooler here tonight as we have a lovely strong sea breeze.
Wish we could send you half of our heat
