Chookie have a wonderful trip to lakes entrance . Yes freezing today but thankful for all that rain yesterday.

Yesterday we had a visit by two of our GD.  It was lovely to catch up with them as we don't see them very much these days due to distance.  They brought the game RummyCub with them and we had a fun afternoon .  They went home loaded up with cakes and shortbread.

I just looked up RummyCub as I hadn't heard of it before - I can see that it could become very addictive!

Chookie, enjoy your trip and I hope it’s not too cold. It was 35° here today. Tomorrow it’s going down to 22° and raining.
DD and I went over to DFO today. We didn’t buy anything.

Met some friends who we haven't seen for a while for dinner - it was a place we had never been before, and will never go there again.  The food and meal were both fairly basic, but with concrete floors and stone walls the noise factor was hideous - especially as there was a table of 6 very loud women that made it impossible to hear what our friends were saying ... it was such a relief to get out of there and back home to peace and quiet!  Am I just getting too old to tolerate loud noises now???

I guess it’s an age thing Marina as our hearing is usually impaired somewhat so background noise makes it very hard to hear our own conversations. A group of ladies can sound like a gaggle of geese and the more they drink the louder they get.

Latest info on my TMX 7.
Today I was sent a message from service department, actually 3 messages. Saying in this order and all relating to today. Received machine, working on machine and posting it back.
I immediately rang service department and asked what they had found and what they had done about it.
They filled the bowl with water and switched it on. It worked. Of course it worked. The problem is intermittent.
I spoke at length with a service person. He was going to try and stop it being sent. We will see.
I spoke with my son and asked if an intermittent problem can be picked up through diagnostic testing. He said difficult. Said if they send it back and it continues to play up, to take a video.
If it continues to play up I’m contacting HO in Germany and threatening Consumer Affairs as the machine is not suitable for selling .
Very frustrated.

Go for it, Chookie, this is obviously a problem and they just don't seem to be particularly interested in rectifying it.  As Judy said, they don't know who they are dealing with!!

Chookie very surprised they didn’t pick up on your information regarding intermittent problem. You did the right thing talking to them . If it’s posted back to your consultant then get her to return it , or test it out till it plays up and she can send it back . Then you can enjoy your time away .

Chookie, enjoy your holiday away.  Lakes Entrance is a lovely place.  My parents retired there and lived there for 24 years so I am very familiar with the town and its surrounds.

Yesterday we had a visit from another of our GD and her BF for morning tea.  Then a trip to the podietrist in the afternoon.

Well a very quiet day for me, another headache. Better write up the diary tomorrow about this one . My only wish would be to be able to read when feeling like this , no way I could .
