More quince jelly. I’m going to experiment with the pulp to see if I can make paste.
Friend found tiny glass jars at OP shop. 48! Thought I could put Quince paste in them.
Also a bag of over sized Mandarins. ???
Bought a bag of quick sale bananas. Making Rum and Raisin banana cake from my blog. https://achookwoman.blogspot.com/search?q=Rum+and+raisin+banana+cake
Made Hummus . Inspired by the Hummus that Marina brought. Amazing stuff.
Also made Kefir. Strained it and made a soft cheese. Added a little chives and garlic.
Sounds like a lot of cooking, but most done while jam cooking.

I made the Family Meat Pie filling from RTE today.  Pastry doesn't agree with DS and me so I will just top it with potato in some form.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

I love your Rum and Raisin Banana cake Chookie. I always think of Ral when I make it. ❤️
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

thanks Cookie.
Just a note on the Quince paste. I made it in the 6. I don’t think I would get enough evaporation with the 7. It’s getting a balance between set and a good colour. I first put the pulp through the mouli.
Mab, if you send me your address I’ll post you some paste.
