That reminds me to look out for some golden raisins for Ice Cream Plum pudding . I’m sure I’m too late but maybe the nut company have them , another job to do . It’s the only thing that our family really like for Xmas lunch ( they like a lot but this is one they love ) . Probably because my DM made it every year . Also she made Brandy butter ( even DS who will not touch butter loves when they’re proper Xmas pudding ) .

The count for the small Xmas puds is up to 30. My recipe makes 25. Looks like I’ll have to make  another 1/2 recipe. I’m soaking the fruit for 5 days.

Good luck ith your search for golden raisins again K Atie.  I remember you trying a year or so ago.  If I happen to see any, I will grab some for you.

Yesterday I made my 3rd Christmas pudding.  Only 2 more to go.

Making skinnymixers coconut curry sausages and rice for lunch . Have not really eaten a proper meal for a few nights so thought this might be a good fill in for DH .

Going out to Nolan’s for lunch today. My favourite Ballarat restaurant. Not posh but a bit different.
Just soup for dinner.

I went up to pick up some more bread flour last week.  They now carry fresh yeast. I really enjoy baking with it so have been making bread. I’ve made my usual breads and a couple of extra ones.
Tapatalk is down so I will have to post the photos later.

Christmas pudding number 4 today.  I might have one more to do but I'm not sure yet.

I have seen for Halloween , brownie slice then melt marshmallows in a bowl , put your thumb and index finger in the marshmallow to create a web place on brownie and keep going then put jube triangular, spider on top ( coles has them ) .

Made a Rye and Caraway loaf from Baker Bleu book. Very nice. Gardener came so gave him some Pumpkin soup for lunch. He loved the bread. Used it to wipe out his bowl.
Made a Jamie Oliver veggie dish. Roast assorted veggies with curry and oil, then mix, tin of tomatoes, tin of coconut milk and a tin of chickpea. Tip over roasted veggies an and bake for 15 Minutes.
