Oat Bars
Ingredients
2 very ripe bananas
50g almond meal or plain flour
50g chopped nuts - any
200g rolled oats
75g dried cranberries
25g mixed seeds
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking powder
Juice and zest of an orange
2 tablespoons maple syrup
300ml milk
Preparation
Prepare a 20cm x 20cm tin and set oven to 180°.
Place bananas into bowl and puree.
Add rolled oats, ground almonds, nuts, cranberries, seeds, cinnamon, baking powder, zest and juice of the orange, maple syrup and milk.
Mix well on speed 3, reverse, until combined well.
Pour into prepared tin and bake for approx 40 minutes.
Cut.

I cut this out of a newspaper ages ago. It’s very nice. The photo is from the paper as I forgot to take one.

It looks like a nice recipe, Cookie, lots of tasty and healthy ingredients.  It seems to resolve the question I put on here earlier in the week about a recipe I had found, similar to this one, that asked for 1 tbs of baking soda - I had already resolved to make it 1 tsp and see how it goes.
