I made these biscuits from the Lindt site. I prepared them yesterday afternoon and cooked them this morning. It only made 12 and there is only a few left.

This morning I went to my GP to get a referral for the eye specialist. Then later my brother called over to show us his new car,  VW Tiguan.

Another overcast, warm day. They had predicted 20-30mm of rain but it has been amended to less than 5mm. Just enough to keep it humid.

Congratulations to GD and her band mates. An excellent achievement.

We had a car run today. It was a breakfast run.  We had 19 Model Aís there and a few modern cars. Being early it wasnít too hot. We got home in time for lunch.

The bread dough base was very successful.  Both DH and DD liked it. DH is very impressed and wants to do all sorts of things in the pie maker. Weird as he hardly ever glanced at the Sunbeam one. 😀😀😀😀

We had sausages in rolls with onion and sauce. Very easy after a day on a car run.

Cowboy Bean Salad. https://www.recipetineats.com/cowboy-bean-salad/
This was really nice. I used Red Kidney Beans as that was all that I had in the pantry.

They look great Chookie.

JulieO itís Amazon prime for the books I think.

DH decided last night, that as we are going on a breakfast run with the Model A, he would like egg and bacon pies in the Pie Maker.  He didnít want pastry as it was too much fat. (But he eats Tim Tams) He asked if I could use bread dough. I made Jamberieís Pizza dough and used some of it to make bases. I cooked them from cold, for about 10 minutes. I put ham in the bottom and poured beaten egg over it.

Still warm and humid here. I wish it would pour and then clear up.

We had the Reuben Toastie from the Pie Book. The flavour was lovely. I decided to buy rye bread and bought a roundish loaf.  I should have bought a square loaf.  It would have fitted better.
We had it with RTE Cowboy Bean Salad.

I started the morning by bashing our clock radio in ;the bedroom. The alarm wouldn't stop! So its the bin for that. Next was the hairdresser- I just made it as the traffic was heavy. I then went to Telstra as they have put our mobile costs up again, they said come back in 15 minutes, which I did. then they were running 15 minutes late.
Next stop was the chemist, they were fine, except I managed to dislodge a shelf of lollies as I was paying. I commented that I should go home, a lovely young man , who was helping pick the lollies up  commented that it was probably a good idea! then he was embarrassed at what he had said. Poor guy. I thought it was hilarious. I nearly backed into a truck as well. I felt safer when I got home! Just a disaster day.
Lovely new day tomorrow.
