Make sure you buy a roasted chicken cookie, they are the best and reheat without drying out as they are not overcooked in the first instance.  It will be a madhouse when it first opens.

Late this afternoon a friend and I went on an outing with my Wellness Centre, we hopped on their bus at 3.30 then went across town to pick up more passengers from one of their other facilities before heading for the Goodwood Hotel for an early dinner in a private room, lovely. Then we went to Beautiful, the Carol King story which was a wonderful show. It went down really well with the huge crowd.  Best night Iíve had in ages, great music and lots of laughs from the show and with the ladies - home at 11.20 pm so another long outing.

Julie you could spend half a day at least in Costco checking out what they sell - the diamonds are magnificent but not something I could just pop into my trolley!

That would be a household card wouldnít it cookie, not both having to pay the membership fee?  Good to hear it isnít far from you, mine is about a 30 minute drive away which is OK.

Nice to hear all those feeling unwell are slowly improving.  Good news re Ralís platelets too.

The children will love the cubby house K Atie, a lovely thing to pass on for their enjoyment now that you no longer need it.

Saved by the quick response from DD & family Chookie.  It must be hard for men to let go of being the fixer of all things broken but things do go wrong.  They just donít believe it until it happens to them and we wives donít want things to go that far.

I saw some footage of the flooding last night Denise, it sounds as if DH has everything under control where you are.  Some days without rain would be nice at this stage.

Excellent information Chookie, I also prefer the puff pastry bottom and top.

Mum is very docile today, dozing mostly for the 2 hours Iíve been here so far.
Denise, so happy to hear you are booking in the fixtures for your new build.
Good to hear that one of you is improving Chookie and that Ral begins to improve asap too.
Katie, donít worry about food - rest up and get better. Most men can toast bread and cook eggs.
A fridge that is all fridge sounds great Julie, do you have a chest freezer or one with shelves/drawers?  Itís so easy to fill it then wish we hadnít so that we can make some different recipes. Iím always in that boat but Iím working on mine by taking out 2 meals a day at the moment.

I think they just gave her something to calm her down cookie, she becomes so traumatized with any procedures these days.  After taking her for an x-ray and a scan recently I knew how bad she would be for this one.

I spent 5 hours at the hospital, Mum had to have her pacemaker battery replaced, it now has another 10 years of life in it.  A traumatic exercise for both of us but it was successful and Iím sure she will sleep well tonight, I came home exhausted!

Ha ha Chookie, I donít think you should procrastinate when it comes to recipe books - if you like it just buy it.  Itís an addiction we all understand.  I used to make many pies with pastry and I have 3 pie machines, I can still use them for crustless quiches and frittatas so they will always be part of my cooking needs.

Will be interested to hear what you think of your XXL purchase, so many of us bought the Philips air fryer when it first came onto the market.  I wonder how many of them are still going strong like mine is.
