Cornish Cream my DH doesn't like coconut milk and he can taste even a tiny bit of it. I'm mean and still use it occasionally. :P We're actually having beef rendang tonight so he will have to eat it. 8)

Cookie I usually sneak a recipe in that my DH isn't keen on when we have guests for supper.The Thai Chili Chicken will be one of those recipes. ;) Never cooked Beef Rendang what's in it?

I made Nico's Thai Chili Chicken for supper this evening ( thanks jd for pointing me to that recipe this week).My DS and I thoroughly enjoyed it but DH informed me that he's not that keen on coconut milk, another recipe to the wall. :(
Made Isi's easy Portuguese rolls but I turned the dough into a loaf.Scrumptious.

See what I made!!Found some red currants when I was shopping.They taste delicious, thank you Isi. :)
I made up 1/4 recipe of the vanilla pudding mix I found on the web.I used 25g of the mix in the recipe .

Vegetarian / Creamy Courgette Lasagne

Creamy Courgette( Zucchini) Lasagna Serves 4
6  fresh lasagna sheets( your baking dish may require more)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 onion, quartered
700g courgette( zucchini) cut into 2cm pieces
 2 garlic cloves peeled
 250g tub ricotta
70g tasty cheddar ,cubed
25g Parmesan
350g tomato sauce, F&E cooking page 59 with a little basil added.
1.Drop the Parmesan and cheddar onto running blades speed/ 8. Put aside.
2.Chop the courgettes in 2-3 batches on speed/3. You need a coarse texture. Put aside.
3.Drop the garlic on running blades speed/8
4. Drop the onion onto running blades speed/5
5 Add the oil and cook 100c/5 minutes/ speed1.
6.Add the courgettes and cook 100c/5 minutes/spoon speed /reverse action with the aid of the spatula. They should be soft and turned bright green.
7.Add 2/3 ricotta and the cheddar/Parmesan, season and mix well with the spatula
8 In your baking dish start layering up starting with half the courgette mixture, then the pasta then the tomato sauce. Repeat, top with blobs of remaining ricotta and sprinkle with remaining cheddar/Parmesan mixture. Cook in the oven 200c/fan180c for approx.30 minutes or until hot, bubbly and the cheese golden.
When I first made this in TM I over processed the courgettes and it looked like a cream sauce by the time I added the cheese!!!. It didn't make any difference to the taste and the DH and DS gobbled it up.

After reading Cathy's comment that she didn't have buttermilk so substituted milk/vinegar when she was making brownies made me think.Maybe we could have a section where people could look to see what they use in their cupboard before they fled to the shops, if they didn't have a particular ingredient at hand.Or would this come under Tips and Hints?
There is a little section on this in the Budget Busters booklet which is quite handy.  And there are other hints/tips floating around so it would be nice to compile them.  From memory, MeganJane had one for egg substitution?

Would it be possible to copy out this section onto the forum to get it started?How about for a title" Substitution- Whats' in your Cupboard ( Larder?)"

So Sorry to hear  :-[ This is worrying indeed !  Makes me think twice about recommending the product that is for sure ! After all with a product such as the TMX, a friends word of mouth is surely the strongest advertising ...... I mean that is why i have felt confident to take the plunge :-\  Mine hasn't even arrived yet, hope it isn't a lemon !   
I have met people who have had a Thermomix for at least 25 years .They upgrade to a new machine because they can no longer get a part for their old machine.
