So far a lazy day - it's 10.00 am and I am only just getting started.

Hope I don't run out of any ingredients for cooking today - there is a big truck show in the next village so the roads will full of trucks all over the place and it's a nightmare getting into and out of Castlemaine on these weekends.  At least it's only for one weekend a year and it's good for the community.

I cooked up some tomatoes, onion, bacon, capsicums and potato gems until the sauce thickened. Had some on a crumpet with an egg, surprisingly nice.

I’ve found that heating the small muffin tray prior to baking  Brazilian cheese puffs makes a better crunchy coating. I use Cake Release prior to putting the tray in the oven. The mixture should be fairly slack. Like that of a crepe. I kept some on the fridge for a couple of days and needed to add a little more milk.
3 lots of jam, 13 jars in all. Mandarin and Lemoncello and Mandarin and Apricot. Probus need 36 minimum for next year.

Good news re your DH’s news KAtie. Make sure he has his check ups, they are VERY important. I have lost 2 acquaintances who had melanoma and never bothered with their check ups.

Marina I just cut the crackers a bit thicker than she suggested. DH ate the crisp ones. They were nice dunked too.
I made a Classic loaf today.
