We had lamb chops with salad. We are away in the motorhome at the moment. It’s been pouring all day and bitterly cold. We are staying in a caravan park tonight so that we have power to use our heater.

That sounds nice Margaret, I always preferred savoury to sweet treats to go with my tea or coffee.

I’ve received this message from Chookie ‘ I can read posts but can’t type message as there is no reply box.’

Has anyone else experienced this problem, if so how did you solve it please?

Yesterday a friend called in for afternoon tea. I had no cake or biscuits and nothing in the freezer so I did a plate of crackers, cheese and quince paste and small tomatoes. They were nice for a change.

Today I have been invited to an afternoon playing Hoy.  I'd never heard of it before but apparently it's a bit like bingo so this might be fun.

Last night Chicken casserole for the men and Cauli/broccoli soup for me

Tonight we are having SC silverside with potato mash, cabbage and baby carrots.  Stewed rhubarb and custard for dessert

We are planning on heading out next week for a few days. It’s going to be freezing so we may stop in caravan parks so we can run the heater.

To be honest, I don’t think it will stay up. I think Mr IT just has to reset something. That’s when he remembers to check his emails.
I’ve got to the stage where I’m short and not so sweet. I simply say “hi, it’s down again!’
