Bar arrived today - it’s on loan and is huge ! Trust me when I say that I’m getting a tad frustrated when the boys think a fence in the yard is more important to fix all day !!! Think tomorrow arvo will be frantic . Oh well all for a good fun night .

Chit Chat / Re: What are you been cooking today« Last post by achookwoman on April 15, 2026, 10:36:28 pm »Made a small loaf with walnuts and dried cranberries. I used the yolks from 3 800 gram eggs in the custard tarts. I think the 700 are better. The custard was, to my liking, a little too thick.
I pickled some small gerkins. This is the first time. They are lovely. Also beetroot. DD loved these. Judy, the Bircher Museli I make has apple, oats and kefir, plus add on of fresh berries and nuts. 40
Chit Chat / Re: What are you been cooking today« Last post by judydawn on April 15, 2026, 10:29:59 pm »I also enjoy Bircher muesli, it saves time in the morning and a batch lasts me 4 days. I use banana, cinnamon, prunes, seeds and nuts. I always heat mine, even in summer as I’m not a fan of cold cereal.
