113 g butter 225 g SR flour 1 egg 1 teaspoon vanilla Set oven 170 ( 350 ) Cream butter and sugar, 1 minute, speed 4. Add egg, 30 seconds, speed 4. Add flour, 30 seconds, speed 4. Add vanilla, 10 seconds, speed 4. Using a teaspoon or spring loaded icecream scoop, place dough on lined tray. Bake for 15 minutes or until browned around the edges. Add extra ingredients after basic dough has been made. Ginger nuts, 2 Tablespoons of ground ginger and 2 tablespoons of golden syrup. Choc chip. A small handful of of each, choc chips, chopped walnuts and dried cranberries. Basic recipe makes 35 cookie. I usually make a double mixture , divide into 3 and make 3 different flavours. 14

I don’t particularly like Avocado. I mix it with lots of lemon juice and then find it ok. Yesterday I made mushroom sauce from Cookidoo. I used water and lemon juice instead of wine and zapped it a little to remove the big lumps. I also left out the onion but added extra chives. It is very nice. I also boiled some eggs in the 7. I used the egg program. They took 15 minutes and were perfect. I also made another small white bread loaf in my new bread machine. Perfect size to last a week. 17

Today I had gym then called in to see my Melbourne kids who arrived last night, they were weeding their lawn so I joined them in that chore before going on to visit my df. Home for a quick lunch then got stuck into my spring cleaning again, only the lounge and kitchen left to do now after a few days break doing other things. |
