Chit Chat / What are you been cooking today

I made some Granola from Cookidoo today. I put less than half the quantity of maple syrup in and it seems plenty sweet enough.

They can be a damn nuisance Chookie. We’d be lost without DD to rescue us.

Your bread looks good Margaret. Not doughy or anything.
I made a Classic loaf today.

Sort of raining today. I made some Butternut Snap biscuits, some yoghurt and a Spicy Fruit loaf from Cookidoo.

I love the sound of that Chookie. I’m finishing a book DD recommended, it’s not too bad. Then I have to read Piglet, for book club. It doesn’t look very enticing, but I haven’t started it yet.

I’m looking forward to the 7 very much. I was told verbally that I should get it next week. It’s a holiday here Monday so we will see.

We had planned th have crumbed chicken and veggies. However when DD got off the bus after work, she saw a family cowering at their front door.  She looked over and there was a galah there and they were terrified of it. She asked if she could help and picked up the bird. They wanted it no where near them. She brought it home and after lots of phone calls and local Facebook intereaction we were able to return it to its owner. The kids were thrilled to bits.
Hence we had soup from the freezer and cheesies.

I have just finished reading Backup is Three Hours Away by Mark Tregellas.  It's his personally journey of policing in remote areas.  Sometimes funny, sometimes sad and at times frightening but well worth reading.
This sounded interesting Margaret. I ended up buying it. I enjoyed it very much. Thanks.

That should be interesting Chookie. Who is the author?
Marina I think Gert only ever travelled with carry on luggage. Probably sensible.
