Very unhelpful delivery man Chookie.
$100 a week per person is a lot for groceries. Our budget isn't near that. Ever since Hally did her $100 grocery challenge way back when, we have taken our shopping money out in cash and that is it for the week. It includes everything - glad wrap, washing powder etc. We go over occassionally but that is usually with money left over from previous weeks.

Good memory mcmich. I remember that challenge plus some other ones we did. I have certainly been saving money not shopping so often but generally my food money these days are spent on vegetables which are increasingly more expensive. I have found the proteins have come down in price  a bit or marked down with people not having BBQ's and the like. I filled my freezer with some 50% off beef, lamb, pork and chicken from Coles. More people online shopping leave all these goodies for those who can still shop in store! Got some fabulous cheeses for next to nix as well. This is when you love the stupid best before and expire dates. Winner.

Doesn’t matter who you see. Went Mon. 30seconds to have doctor take temp and to ensure the practice can bill the government. 1 minute with nurse. Everyone is making money.  A 50cent  Drug probably cost the taxpayers $100.

Now is the time for CULLING. one drawer., one cupboard at a time. We are in for the long haul so count your drawers ,  cupboards, closets, shelves and hidey places and make a plan.

So long as he is not in God's waiting room he is probably good to stand. No doubt he was just a wee bit dizzy watching you going round and round the island baking your bread. Turn on Netflix and settle down.

LOL! A Tabby net!!!! You got kitties in that dam of yours? Maybe they ate the ducklings. Apple Inc probably never heard of YABBIES!

I hope you gave away all that bread and didn't eat it. You won't be able to walk around that huge island of yours soon. Ral will have to cart you in his sooper dooper  people mover Instead of hauling chicken poop.

Keep on cooking.

If you are eating all that cake, bread, jam and potatoes you won't be able to fit through the door so you will be well and truly self isolating. 😂

Take care my friend.

Well done Cookie DD.
We are in lockdown. If we get stir crazy we will go for a drive or walk in the park. I could always do some house work and cleaning.  On the bottom of list.

I am gunna be quite firm here Chookie. REMOVE CLEANING FROM YOUR LIST!!

My mother was the same. When I asked her why she overloaded the cupboards she gave me the same excuse, “ your father was one of 9 during the depression” and
did not have enough food. My smart ass reply was all the more reason to not hoard as we now had plenty and we should share. My mother was not impressed. I am now down to 2 and 3/4 rolls of toilet paper  It will then be down to the tissues.

Since I became a minimalist I shop maybe once a month down the aisles. I only shop around the outside and for fresh food maybe  every two weeks. I have exactly 4 rolls of toilet paper. One each on the holders and one extra in each toilet. I hope I do not get the shits any time soon. But should I, I am sure I will make do as millions of others who do not have the benefit or luxury of affording  toilet paper. More and more I find hoarding an anathema.

Made a mess of trying to load Kindle. Problem is I may have had it a long time ago.  We now have different address ,  phone numbers and post code. Will have another go when I have someone to help me.

Do not worry my friend. Delete all kindle apps and start again.  Try to remember when you first set up an Amazon account. If you cannot then just set up a new Amazon account with a new address and a NEW password.

Me too Judy. I must admit I didn't notice it so am thankful that he did.  :D

I had a bad leak no bugger could find. Went through 3 plumbers before it was found. I claimed on my home insurance by calling it exploration rather than straight plumbing and they paid it. Then when I got my water bill from the council we had a robust discussion and they agreed to halve the bill. Whew!
