« on: February 28, 2021, 05:28:05 pm »CC, you would be a reliable authority on Cornish Pasties. What filling do you use. ?If I can buy it Chookie I use Beef Skirt. It makes all the difference to a pasty. I always use potato, swede and onion with lots of salt and pepper. My Mum always used white pepper but I prefer black pepper.

Using lard and butter in the pastry makes the pasty taste good.😁
