Just some boring housework here.
DH had a visit from a friends DH who wants to set up a workshop. I gather he had a great time getting tips and hints on what tools to buy and the size of workshop he may need.

Good morning everyone. No cookie, weíre having 2 hot days in a row - 31 here today.

Not fun Judy. CC O heard this morning that London had 29*. The hottest April day since 1949.

Chookie I hope your microwave isn't too expensive to fix. I'm wishing ours would give up as I have just heard about new Kitchen Aid ones. Then it would be  like having 2 ovens.
Yes Cookie itís been hot these past few days. I can believe the temperature was about 12c last week and this week shot right up to 29c  Today is cooler and this afternoon itís started to rain.

I was a little cheeky with Tenina the other day and said I hoped she released the recipe of a delicious  looking cake in time for my birthday. It isn't going to be but she sent me the recipe anyway. I can't wait to try it. It is sort of orangey. With lots of Cointreau!  It was very kind of her, and she said it improves with age, sort of like all of us really!
What a lovely surprise to receive the recipe from Tenina Cookie. So kind of her.

A beautiful sunny day here today. The mud is even drying up. :D It was lovely to see the cows back in the fields this morning. They were busy munching the grass and didn't look up as Chance and I walked past.

GS stayed overnight to spend the day with us. We will take him home later as he starts school tomorrow after the Easter holidays. Always lots of board games played when he is with us and he enjoys taking Chance for his afternoon walk.

Hi friends.
It looks like we might get a brief spell of warm weather this week. It will be great if the mud starts drying up.

It's such a cold, wet, windy, depressing day here I made my first pot of soup for the year - pumpkin with lentils and cashews.
We had the opposite weather to you today Marina. A warm sunny day, well warm by UK standards ;D
