So sorry to hear your DH is still unwell Margaret and that your DD is in isolation.

We are just coming out of lockdown but the media is panicking everyone with the thought of a second wave of Covid-19 and it hasnít even happened yet.

We thought we were having handover of our house this Saturday ( 27th) but itís been delayed until next week. Nothing DH and I can do about it but grit our teeth. 🤐

Itís 30c here today. Chance and I are sitting in the van with the ac on. 😁

Counting the days until handover of our house.
Iíve been researching lights for rooms. Kept going around in circles trying to workout how many ďlumensĒ each light fitting produced. 🤪 The one light fixture Iíve ordered is delayed.

My apologies everyone for being MIA these past few days,
Quite stressful for DH and I recently. I threw ďmy toys out the pramĒ on Tuesday when I saw the scaffolders prop a ladder on top of a newly installed gutter and it was bending with their weight on it. I was livid 🤯 I challenged them and got the reply ď this is the only way we can do thisĒ I stormed off grabbed my iPad and took photos. Consequently the next day when they came to install the next stage of scaffolding they braced the ladder the correct way.

I hope your DH feels better soon Margaret.

Sitting in the garden with Chance. Itís been beautiful weather these past few days.

The house build is progressing well. First fix of electrics completed. The maintenance team are plaster boarding the walls and ceiling. The roofers have started to tile the roof. The weather has been good these past few days. Next week the plumbers are expected to start their first fix. With the Lockdown being partially lifted we contacted our kitchen supplier and they are visiting the site next Tuesday to survey the empty kitchen for installation in July. The flooring company are measuring up tomorrow night. They are not sure whether suppliers will be manufacturing yet.
