The Tasmanian break sounds right up your street, Chookie, it would have been very inspiring and great fun.

Glad I did the late run up to the country last night as the delivery came a bit early thi morning, but I would have preferred to leave Melbourne around 6.00 am - way more peaceful (except for kangaroos).

Left work early to get to Guildford for an early morning delivery tomorrow.  The traffic out of the city was horrendous - a 1 3/4 hour drive took nearer to 2 3/4 hours - I was a walking zombie by the time I got home.

It's good to be up and running with all my forum friends - it is so frustrating when the forum is down, but I always enjoy it when we are all back together again.

Interviewed a new staff member last evening - it was really a formality and she was a foregone decision, as she is an existing customer and 2 members of our staff knew her well and warmly supported her application.

Marina and Chookie, your posts bring back lovely memories - the good old days aye?
You were like my TMX mother back in the early days, Judy.  Much like Chookie I was pretty clueless and knew next to nothing about the internet or cooking using the TMX, but you were always there and were very patient.

Marina, highlight of my day also. Lovely to see you both. After, I was wondering how long is it that we have known each other ?
Love going to Melbourne. A very short trip but did a lot. DD had appointments and I just tagged along.
Chookie, we had known each other for several years on this forum (I think I joined c. 2010, but, as well as you, I am sure Cookie and Judy were already on the forum at that time), before we actually got together - I think when 'Cornish Cream' (Denise?) came over from England?  There were a couple of other group get-togethers back in those days as well, all great fun - remember the Forum Fests????  I have loved meeting you and the others that continue to meet in this digital world.

Noisy diners always ruin an otherwise enjoyable meal.

That was a fair few bikes, Katie.  DH and I went on one of these big rallies many years ago - when we were much younger and stupider - they are fun.  I am sure your food was greatly appreciated.

That is a lot of work, Judy.  Obviously the cooler weather has arrived at your place!

I didn't know until about 3 days ago that you could freeze avocado.  Do they discolour when they thaw out?
